Back to School 2026-27
Students register and move into their dormitories over the course of several days starting on Tuesday, September 1. Classes begin on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
As you prepare for your arrival on campus, please refer to this page and check your email often for important back-to-school information. More details will be added throughout the summer.

Back-to-School Shipping
If you are shipping items for your student, please do not send items to campus to arrive before August 27, as we have limited storage space. If you would like to ship items to arrive earlier, please consider sending them via the UPS store for in-room delivery.
UPS must receive your boxes no later than August 21, 2026, to provide the in-room delivery service.
Laundry Services Information
All dormitories on campus have washers and dryers for student use at no charge. Loomis Chaffee is also pleased to offer our boarding students the option of laundry service through E&R — The Campus Laundry.
Travel Planning for the School Year
We recognize the need to make travel plans early to ensure that students don't miss school days unnecessarily due to travel. Please use the Vacation Schedule and Transportation page as a guide when making travel plans during the school year.
