Give a Book Program

The Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) will assist the Katharine Brush Library in sponsoring the Give a Book to the Library Program during Family Weekend. The sale will be held on Friday, October 18, 1–6 p.m. and Saturday, October 19, 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m. on the Katharine Brush Library Terrace. This program has a two-fold purpose:

  • To provide an opportunity to present a visible gift in honor of a student, friend, alumnus, or faculty member which will be put to immediate use by the Loomis Chaffee community
  • To enable the library to expand the resources available to students, faculty, and staff

You may purchase your gift books or eBook collections from a selection, both curricular and recreational, chosen to fit the needs of the library or you may contribute money for the library to purchase books in a specified field of interest. Parent volunteers and library staff will be available to assist you with your purchases. Payment may be made by cash, check, credit, or school charge slip. A special bookplate dedication indicating the name of the person honored and the name of the donor(s) can be placed in each gift book.
