Parents Association (LCPA)
Each and every parent who volunteers makes a significant difference in the quality of life on campus.
The mission of the Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) is to facilitate parent involvement in the Loomis Chaffee community to enhance the lives of the students and faculty.
All parents of current Loomis Chaffee students are members of the LCPA. The LCPA meets monthly on campus to discuss effective parental participation in the life of the school. In addition, each meeting includes a report from the head of school and a guest speaker from the LC community. Throughout the year the LCPA hosts several social events for parents, and Winterfest for students. We hope to see you at our next meeting!

LCPA News
Our LCPA community showcased their love and support on Valentine's Day! Last Friday, our Loomis Chaffee faculty and staff received fresh loaves of local artisan bread as a token of gratitude for all they do for LC students and the school community. Even their pets were shown some love too — with homemade treats for dogs and cats!
We would like to extend a HUGE congratulations and thanks to this year's Winterfest leaders, Meghan Wildstein, Heather Lehman, and Mary Flowers, along with an incredible team of parent volunteers, who created a week-long celebration for students, faculty, and staff culminating in a Northern Lights dance on Saturday night in the Scanlan Campus Center.
'Twas the season! A festive time was had by all at the December 11 LCPA Holiday Gathering. After a brief overview of the Community Engagement program by director Heather Henderson, parents stuffed 250 goodie bags with candy and toy treats, bundled with warm winter hats, to be given to children and families in need through the Hands on Hartford’s backpack program.
On November 14, the LC Parents Association conducted its annual fall tradition of distributing apple pies to all Loomis Chaffee faculty and staff members. An imPAWtent new addition to the event was delivering treats for pets, too!
The September 25 Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) meeting – the first of the academic year – brought together many parents from near and far, thanks to our virtual meeting format.
