Parents Association (LCPA)
Each and every parent who volunteers makes a significant difference in the quality of life on campus.
The mission of the Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) is to facilitate parent involvement in the Loomis Chaffee community to enhance the lives of the students and faculty.
All parents of current Loomis Chaffee students are members of the LCPA. The LCPA meets monthly on campus to discuss effective parental participation in the life of the school. In addition, each meeting includes a report from the head of school and a guest speaker from the LC community. Throughout the year the LCPA hosts several social events for parents, and Winterfest for students. We hope to see you at our next meeting!

The second time was the charm for the LCPA virtual book discussion with Mike Donegan! The event, which took place on Tuesday, December 2, had been rescheduled from November 18, and the wait did not disappoint. Discussion centered on Gary Chapman's New York Times bestseller The Five Love Languages of Teenagers: The Secret to Increasing Joy and Trust with Your Teen.

On November 13, the Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) conducted its annual fall tradition of distributing apple pies to all Loomis Chaffee faculty and staff members. Sharing these autumn-inspired goodies is one of the ways the LCPA expresses gratitude to the faculty and staff for all they do for LC students and the school community.

The Loomis Chaffee Parents Association (LCPA) hosted their first virtual meeting of the academic year on September 24, successfully welcoming nearly 100 parents from near and far. We heard updates from Head of School Jody Soja and faculty members Chris Howes and Liz Bucceri ’07.
