The counseling office works in conjunction with the Health Services staff and the academic office to facilitate a student's recovery from concussion and their ongoing success at the school. Counseling's role is to monitor a student's emotional well-being given that people with concussions often suffer with emotional difficulties even after physical symptoms have abated.
