Dining
Loomis Chaffee’s dining hall is a place to gather with friends for great food and good conversation.
Our food service creates menus inspired by our community, with options ranging from vegetable empanadas and Middle Eastern falafel to beef & chorizo chili and chicken nuggets. Salad and sandwich bars, and panini, pasta, and pizza stations are also available as well as gluten-free and vegetarian options, an ice cream machine, and various other snacks to grab on the go.
If you have dietary restrictions, we offer dietary accommodations based on religious situations or specific food allergies. Our Food Service Director is available to review weekly menus and introduce substitutes to accommodate these situations.

The SNUG
Located in the center of campus, the SNUG (Students Nestled Under Ground) provides an ideal place for you to relax during a free period, grab a snack after classes, and meet up with friends on a Saturday night. TVs and ping pong tables provide easy entertainment when the space isn’t hosting performances by student and local bands, open mic nights, and dances. The SNUG café is open whenever the dining hall is closed and serves various hot food options, including breakfast sandwiches, chicken fingers, and french fries.
