Over the years, we have welcomed students from more than 30 countries to our Summer Program. Apply today! We're eager to learn more about you.
Former international students embraced the opportunity to learn with academically motivated peers from around the world, experience an authentic boarding school learning community, immerse themselves in English language and American culture, and have fun!
The Summer Program is conducted exclusively in English; therefore, students must be proficient in the English language in order to thrive here. International students who attend an academic year school in which English is NOT the primary language of instruction are required to submit one of the following standardized tests: TOEFL, TOEFL Junior, or SSAT.
ON-CAMPUS PROGRAMS ONLY
All enrolled international students are encouraged to obtain a Tourist Visa (B-2 visa). Applicable information is available from the United States Department of State.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, international families should remain in contact with the Summer Program office regarding changes to travel restrictions.
Health Forms and Immunization Records
Medical requirements are mandatory for all students and must be completed prior to arrival on campus. Forms are available through an online system once the student is enrolled. All international students require documentation of a physical exam in the past year, tuberculosis testing, and completion of the series of immunizations that are required by the State of Connecticut. All documents and results should be submitted in English. We will only accept officially translated documents.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, additional immunizations may be required. This information will be updated as needed on the website. Enrolled students will be notified immediately of any changes by the Summer Program office.
If you have questions, please contact the Summer Program office directly.
LCSP COVID Protocols - Updated April 18, 2022
My favorite part of the LCSP was...
“Sports, I got to play my favorite sport with people I did not know before and I had a lot of fun”
“The trips, because it’s a great way to get to know people.”
Osama, Saudi Arabia
“Meeting new friends and I have made strong connections, something I cherish strongly.”
“Learning Geometry and meeting new people. I got to study a lot with new people and learn more about them.”
“I learned a lot about Algebra, which will help me next year in school.”
“I improved a lot in my writing class. The teachers were very nice and correct my answers patiently. They helped me a lot at grammar and writing, which is the two main categories that I wanted to improve this summer.”
